Live360 ("we," "our," or "us"), operated by The Other Side Studios, is dedicated to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when using the Live360 mobile application and website (live360.app).

1. Information We Collect

To provide our core real-time safety, navigation, and connection features, we collect the following data with your explicit permission:

• Location Data: Real-time precise geolocation coordinates, including background location tracking when the app is closed, to power live friend tracking, 30-day History Trails, and Zone arrival/departure alerts.
• Motion & Activity Data: Accelerometer and pedometer data (step counts, motion states, driving detection) to detect activity and potential distress.
• Device Telemetry: Battery status, network connectivity, and lock/unlock status to inform approved circle friends if your device goes offline.
• Bluetooth (BLE) Data: Bluetooth Low Energy sightings to detect nearby devices for enhanced location accuracy and mesh safety relay.
• Account & Communications: Phone number, username, profile photo, chat messages, uploaded media, and moment posts.

2. How We Use & Share Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal location or identity data to third-party data brokers under any circumstances. Your real-time location and safety telemetry are strictly shared with users you have explicitly accepted as "Friends" or designated as "Watchers." You can revoke access or enable Ghost Mode at any time.

3. Third-Party Service Providers & Advertising

We partner with trusted third-party service providers to support app operations, subscriptions, analytics, and advertising:

• Google AdMob: We display advertisements via Google AdMob. Google and its ad partners may collect device identifiers (such as IDFA, IP address, and advertising IDs) and use cookies/tracking technologies to serve relevant ads and measure ad performance in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. In the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland, and the UK, personalized ads are only served with your explicit consent via our certified Consent Management Platform (CMP).
• Superwall & Apple StoreKit: To process subscriptions, in-app purchases, and feature entitlements.
• Supabase: Encrypted backend database infrastructure, authentication, and secure cloud storage.
• PostHog: Anonymous product analytics and crash diagnostics to improve reliability.

4. Your Rights & Data Deletion

You are always in control of your data. You have the right to access, rectify, export, or permanently delete your personal data:

• Ghost Mode & Permissions: Revoke location access or toggle Ghost Mode anytime to stop location sharing instantly.
• Account Deletion: You can permanently delete your Live360 account from within the app settings. Upon account deletion, all profile details, friendship connections, location history, motion logs, and chat records are immediately and permanently purged from our active databases.
